Virtual Middle School Career Expo

Virtual Middle School Career Expo Scheduled for Feb. 22-25

Middle school students and their parents are invited to explore a variety of potential careers at McHenry County College’s upcoming Middle School Career Expo, February 22–25. The events, held virtually via Zoom, allow students to learn about career paths available in McHenry County, review fundamental financial and lifestyle information, and connect with area businesses and organizations.

Students can attend one or more sessions of the Expo as they are interested. On Monday, February 22, students will learn about careers in agriculture, food, and natural resources; architecture and construction; arts, audio-visual, technology, and communications; and human services. Tuesday, February 23 will feature careers in business, management, and administration; education and training; finance; and health science. On Wednesday, February 24, careers discussed will include government and public administration; hospitality and tourism; information technology; and manufacturing. And on Thursday, February 25, the sessions will focus on careers in law, public safety, corrections, and security; marketing, sales, and service; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; and transportation, distribution, and logistics.

All events will take place between 6–7:15 p.m. The Expo is free and open to the public.
