
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Alden-Hebron's "I Decided" campaign features & celebrates the post-secondary plans of the Class of 2022.
AHHS senior, Ben Gaddni, plans to attend a four-year university to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. After completing his undergraduate research, he will attend Concordia Seminary to earn a Master’s Degree in Divinity. He will use this degree to become a pastor.
Congratulations Ben!

AHHS: It is officially Prom Season!
The Junior Class is excited to present Prom 2022! Tickets are on sale from April 11th to April 19th , BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL ONLY!!!
Today students were given:
-Prom Pack/Information Document
-Alden-Hebron Parent Permission Form
-Guest Form (If need be, the guest form can be sent via email to swalsh@ah19.org or ncazares@ah19.org)
Remember that in order to buy tickets, you MUST have all forms completed and turned into Ms. Walsh or Nanci. There will be no exceptions made for tickets that are not purchased by the DUE DATE.

COMMUNITY NEWS: All are welcome to attend the free egg hunt sponsored by the area churches. The event takes place on Sat., April 16th at 3pm.

Alden-Hebron High School NHS: National Honor Society inducted two new members last night: Justin Gritmacker and Jake Nielsen. Senior NHS members Ben Gaddini and Cindy Carbajal received their honor cords. Members are selected from a faculty committee based on four qualities of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

AHHS senior, Cindy Carbajal, plans on completing her Associate in Science Degree at McHenry County College. Afterwards, she will be pursuing a degree in Surgical Technology. Congratulations Cindy!

*** Anyone interested in joining the High School Bass Fishing Team we will be having a meeting on Friday April 8th at 5:30 in the HS Lobby. If you are in another sport and can not make the meeting please let Coach Lalor or Coach Higgins (815)-307-1074 know before Friday that you would like to be part of the team. ***

JUNIOR CLASS PROM FUNDRAISER: Saturday, April 9th, 9:00 - 12:30
Help support the Junior class raise money for their 2022 Prom by donating your gently used and no longer needed goods. We will be accepting donations on Saturday, April 9th, between 9:00 - 12:30.
Place your items in a garbage bag or box, drop off at the North Doors of the High School. See flyer for additional information on what is accepted.

AHHS senior, Sandra Valdez, plans to attend McHenry County College where I plan to study fire science as well as take paramedic classes to pursue a career as a firefighter/paramedic. Congratulations Sandra!

*** Tonight's JV Baseball game vs. Westminster Christian has been cancelled, baseball will practice inside from 7:00-9:00. HS Track is still on for tonight at Marian Central 4:30 start. Softball practice tonight 5:00-7:00 inside. ***

Open Door With Superintendent Elswick!
Open Door with the Superintendent is a chance for district parents, staff, and community members to meet with me to discuss ideas, concerns, or get answers to questions. I welcome conversations from everyone.
