AHHS senior, Jessica Wikman, has decided to attend McHenry County College in the fall to study photography. Congratulations Jessica!
Help support the Junior class raise money for their 2022 Prom, by donating your gently used and no longer needed goods. We will be accepting donations on Saturday, April 9th, between 9:00 - 12:30.
Place your items in a garbage bag or box, to drop off at the North Doors of the High School. See flyer for additional information on what is accepted.

*** Remember the HS Track meet originally scheduled for Tuesday the 22nd at Johnsburg has been moved to tonight @ 4:15 to try to beat tomorrows expected weather.***
Also MS Track practice will start this week from 2:45-4:45 at the Grade School 5th graders may participate. You can join anytime this week, parents please reach out to Coach Brooke Laibly (815)-355-7657 so she can get your contact information and add you to the Team App so you will receive updates when changes occur to the schedule.

AHHS senior, Frank Herff, plans to attend McHenry County College for their baking and pastry management program. After he completes the two year program he will start his career by working in a professional bakery. Congratulations Frank!

AHHS senior, Shalinkumar Shah, plans to attend Northern Illinois University to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After completing his undergraduate program he will pursue his MBA. Congratulations Shalinkumar!

AHHS: 2022 Summer Rotational Internship for all McHenry County Students Ages 16-18
Here are the highlights of the program:
· Rotational work experience – each student will work for two manufacturers, spending 5 weeks with each company
· Paid work - $15 per hour
· 29 hours per week
· Students 16-18 years old are eligible, graduating Seniors are welcome
· Students must reside in McHenry County
· No resume required, no experience necessary
· Pathway to employment and/or apprenticeship post-internship

AHHS senior, Monique Addison, has decided to attend Blackhawk Technical College where she will achieve a two-year technical diploma for Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Technician as well as a one-year technical diploma for Welding. Congratulations Monique!
AHHS Students Volunteer for the Hackmatack Ecological Stewardship.
From Hackmatack: "We were so pleased to have Alden-Hebron students work with us. They were excellent workers, were a lot of fun, kept us all on task, and we hope they participate in subsequent workdays. What a wonderful group of kids!"
