COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS: Western IL University rep visited AHHS. Students were able to ask questions and obtain more information about the majors offered. AH has several WIU graduates including Ms. Kanaly.


AHMS: Mrs. Veneziano's 6th Grade Science classes worked on an excavation project.


Northwestern Medicine Discovery Program application is open for the 2021-2022 school year. The application closes on Friday, October 1st.
Students interested in participating in the Discovery Program Northwest Chapter must meet the following eligibility requirements:
-Be at least 15 years of age
-Be a resident of McHenry County
-Be entering sophomore or junior year of high school
-Have an academic GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale or 3.8 on a 5.0 GPA scale
-Commit to the program, including attendance at all Discovery Program meetings
-Commit to abide by all Discovery Program guidelines and policies
Submit the completed student application to the appropriate chapter
