AHHS: CONGRATULATIONS to A-H High School senior, Faith Higgins, who has received her CNA from the College of Lake County. Faith is now working on earning her MA (Medical Assistant) certification. Her future plans are to work in a Pediatric ICU.

*** Thursday 8/24 tonight's home football game vs. Christian Life has been postponed. Further details of rescheduling will be coming soon. MS volleyball and HS volleyball will practice at normal times. HS Cheer will not practice tonight but will practice tomorrow 3:00-5:00. HS Football the weight room will be open for one hour tonight after school. ***
*** Tonight's Booster Club meeting has been rescheduled for next Wednesday 7:00 in the HS Lobby. ***
*** All sports parents, I want to let you know we are watching the heat situation with the athletes very closely. We will be monitoring the conditions tomorrow and will keep you updated on practices and the varsity football game tomorrow night. Please encourage your children to eat a healthy diet and stay very hydrated. I know the coaches have been talking to them about this a lot!! ***

*** Friday 8/18 Green & White Games tonight. It all starts with the HS Football Team "Benching For Bucks" at 4:30 in front of the school. Then the MS Volleyball team will have there scrimmage at 5:30 and the HS Volleyball team at 6:00. Please note we will not be pulling out the bleachers for the volleyball games to give the floor some more time to cure but people are welcome to stand on the sides. It's a small scarifies for our new beautiful floor. MS Football will take the field at 7:00 and HS Football at 8:00. Come out and support your MS/HS Giants!!! ***
